Key Responsibilities

• Cover important social, family, cultural, and political events from your city and state.
• Identify and develop compelling story ideas relevant to our readers.
• Conduct interviews with individuals, experts, and public figures.
• Gather accurate information through field reporting and research.
• Write engaging, factual, and reader-friendly articles in simple Hindi.
• Submit stories, photographs, and supporting information within agreed timelines.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Minimum: Graduation in any discipline.
• Preferred: Post-Graduation.

Experience

• Prior experience with a news media organization is preferred.
• Candidates currently working with news media are encouraged to apply.
• Applicants with an active and credible social media presence showcasing news or public-interest content may also be considered.

Skills Required

• Excellent command of simple and grammatically correct Hindi.
• Ability to write in a clear, reader-friendly style while avoiding overly Sanskritized language.
• Strong reporting, interviewing, and communication skills.
• Good observation, networking, and fact-gathering abilities.
• Neat and legible handwriting is preferred.

Preferred Age

• Preferably below 40 years.
• Exceptional candidates above 40 years are also welcome to apply.

Essential Requirements

• Own two-wheeler for local reporting.
• Smartphone with a good-quality camera.
• Laptop or desktop computer with internet access.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned city/state for reporting assignments.
